If you have paint left from your decorating project, follow these environmentally friendly tips.

Do not throw liquid paint in your waste disposal or pour it down the drain.

Do not mix paints for storage or disposal. Leave paint in the original container.

Do not allow acrylic or vinyl resin paints to freeze.

Only store paint in areas that do not freeze.

Acrylic and Vinyl resin paints that has frozen cannot be used again.

Small amounts of Acrylic and Vinyl resin paints can be air-dried and disposed through your local waste collection system.

Only purchase the quantity you need. Find creative uses for excess paint.
